Dioecious.. Male flowers in sessile or shortly pedunculate umbelliform clusters of 4–11, with peduncle up to 3 mm. long and 4–19 mm. long pedicels, often with one coaxillary solitary flower; receptacle-tube campanulate, somewhat narrowed just below the mouth, hairy inside, 3–3.5 mm. long; lobes triangular-filiform, 0.7–1.2 mm. long; petals white, becoming cream then yellow when old, 3–4 mm. long, 1.5–2.5 mm. broad; stamens 3; filaments long..
