Shrub or small tree, up to 7 m high. Leaf lamina narrowly elliptic-ovate to elliptic-ovate, upper surface glossy, very prominently 3-nerved below from base to apex with prominent reticulate venation on both sides, margin serrulate. Unarmed. Flowers yellowish green.

Sepals 1–5 mm. long, deltate, pubescent outside.
Petals up to 1 mm. long, obovate, unguiculate.
Fruit up to 7 mm. in diam., globose, 3-seeded.
Ovary 3-locular; style 3-fid, c. 1 mm. long.
Seeds up to 6 mm. long, somewhat compressed.
Disk obscurely 5-lobed.
