Involucrum 3(-4)-seriatum turbinatum 6-8 mm altum et 7-9 mm latum. Involucri bracteate 16-22, imbricatae, late lanceolatae et membranaceae stramineae ± glabrae vel setis singulis basi incrassatis obsitae, plerumque vitta resinifera indistincta obsitae, interdum apice ciliato-dentatae et rubescentes; exteriores 5-6 x 1.0-1.5 mm, interiores 6.0-7.5 x 0.8 mm, margine scariosae interdum ciliatae. Flores radii feminei 8-11 rosacei, ligula late lineari ad obovata 6.5-7.0 x 2.6-3.4 mm, tubo glabro. Flores disci numerosi hermaphroditi 'female'-steriles. Corolla lutea angusta usque ad 4.5 mm longa, laciniis rectis interdum apice pilosis saepe rubescentibus margine resiniferis, tubo glabro; stylus bipartitus ramis 0.8-1.0 mm longis plerumque sterilibus anguste triangularibus ad obovato-cochleariformibus. Antherae 1.2-1.6 mm longae appendice anguste triangulari 0.4-0.5 mm longa. Ovarium sterile stramineum glabrum vel interdum laxe pilosum. Pappi setae 18-22 persistentes 4.5-5.0 mm longae flavescentes ad laete aurantiacae, in parte basali laxe breviter dentatae superne robuste semilonge crasso-cristatae, flores disci superantes. Achenia ± obovata 2.7-2.8 x 1.4-1.5 mm, subfusca, subcompressa ad subteretia, indistincte costata, facies et costae aequaliter breviter ad semilonge pilosae hirsutae. Pili 0.20-0.25 mm longi inflexi distincte inaequaliter bipartiti apicibus rotundatis, in parte basali saepe genuflexi, interdum breviter et obtuse bipartiti, mellei.
