Suffrutex perennis, e basi plus minus ramosus, rarius subsimplex, caule tenuiter hispidulo, tereti, plus minusve dense foliato; foliis erecto-patentibus vel suberectis, linearibus vel lineari-spathulatis, obtusis vel subacutis, margine interdum dimidio superiore lobulo lineari auctis, utrinque puberulis vel scabrido-hispidulis, internodia vulgo superantibus 1-2.7 cm longis, supra medium 0.2-0.5 cm latis; capitulis terminalibus, pedunculatis; involucro subuniseriato, 0.7-0.8 cm diametiente, foliolis 12-16, linearibus, dorso puberulis, margine pallidiore ciliatis, acutis, basin versus plerumque paulo incrassatis, angustioribusque, 0.6-0.8 cm longis; floribus radii 7-9, e basi subfiliformi-tubulosa, ligulatis, apice minute 3-lobulatis, 4-nerviis, involucro subduplo longioribus; floribus disci tubulosis, 0.4 cm longis (achaeniis sterilibus aequilongis), tubo apicem versus paulo dilatato, lobis erecto-patentibus, parvulis, acutis; filamentis filiformibus, antheris anguste linearibus acutis, apicem loborum attingentibus; stylo filiformi, brachiis in floribus radii paulo exsertis; achaeniis compressis, obovatis, plus minus hirsutis; pappi setis plumosis, floribus disci subaequilongis.
