Characteristics

Erect shrub rarely over 1 m tall, with lignotuber. Leaves ±triangular, 10-15 mm long, with 3-5 (-7) apical lobes, some incised to at least half length of leaf; petiolate; lobes linear-ovate to linear, acute at apex with prominent, red-brown apical gland, with dense indumentum of short appressed hairs, silvery. Perianth to 25 mm long, bright pink, with short, white hairs especially near apex. Style to 35 mm long, with long hairs except near base; ovary pubescent.
