Characteristics

Erect shrub to c. 1.5 m tall, without lignotuber. Leaves petiolate, 3-segmented, 10-20 mm long; laciniae more than 12, terete, less than 0.5 mm diam., with appressed hairs when young, glabrescent (the floral leaves retaining some hairs about base). Involucral bracts to 6 mm long. Perianth to 21 mm long, cream with black or dark navy, with short hairs on outside. Style c. 37 mm long, glabrous; ovary glabrous.
