Characteristics

Prostrate shrub rarely more than 25 cm tall and 50 cm diam., without lignotuber. Leaves sessile, entire, linear, to 30 mm long, c. 2 mm wide, obtuse at apex, glabrous, with prominent, red, apical gland. Perianth c. 20 mm long, cream, hirsute outside. Style c. 25 mm long, flexuose near base and dorsally arched after anthesis, with long hairs in upper portion only; ovary pubescent.
