Characteristics

Tuber ad 17 cm longum, prope apicem ad 2.5 cm diam.; partes herbaceae glabrae punctatae, punctis minute tuberculatis, pallide virides vel rubre brunneae; folia spathulata vel subspathulata vel rarius late ovata, prope apicem saepius angustata, acuta vel subobtusa, fera 1.1-1.6 cm longa, parte latissima 6-10 mm lata, culta ad 2.5 cm longa, ad 9 mm lata, medio ad 4 mm diam.; flores solitarii; bracteae 9 mm, vel cultae ad 2.3 cm, longae cum vagina 5 mm.; pedunculi 2-6 mm longi; receptaculum subobconicum, 3-4 mm longum, apice 6-8 mm diam.; sepala 5.5 mm, vel in cultis 6-7 mm, longa, basi 4-6 mm lata; petala 2-seriata, inferne saepe vix angustata, prope apicem angustata, saepius acuta, citrine lutea, evittata, ad 8 mm, vel in flore altero ad 10 mm, longa, 1.25-1.75 mm lata; stamina diu conice collecta, parum supra basim leviter constricta, filamentis albis, exterioribus inferne minute ciliate papillatis, interioribus papillatis bene supra basim, ad 6 mm longis, antheris pollineque albidis; ovarium e disco gradatim ad 2 mm demum elevatum, lobis dorso complanatis; stigmata 9-10, gracilia, stamina superantia, 5-7 mm longa; capsula normalis non visa.
