An epiphyte with elongate ancipitous stems up to 30 cm. long.. Roots many, clustered, unbranched.. Leaves subremote, equitant (conduplicate and overlapping), shaped like a scalpel, linear, acute, 3–5 cm. long, 2 mm. wide.. Inflorescences much shorter than the leaves, 1–few-flowered; bracts minute, triangular.. Flowers 1.8 cm. across.. Sepals lanceolate, acuminate.. Petals similar but narrower.. Lip similar but a little shorter.. Spur filiform, 4 times longer than the ovary, 15 cm. long.. Column very short.. Fruit 2 cm. long, 8 mm. in diameter.
