Inflorescences 1-flowered, borne opposite the leaf axils, arising from the same place in successive years and often forming a short, woody spur. Peduncle 5–17 mm long, filiform; pedicel and ovary twisted, 6–7 mm long; bracts 1–2 mm long.
Leaves distichous, dark green, 4.5–9 cm × 4–9 mm, linear to ligulate, sometimes falcate, acutely and very unequally 2-lobed at apex, one lobe often ± absent, the other to 15 mm long.
Pendent epiphytic herb; stem up to 40 cm long, leafy towards the apex, woody below this; roots many, c. 2 mm in diameter.
Lip boat-shaped, 5–8 × 3–5 mm, including a 2 mm long acumen; spur 8–9 mm long, slender but slightly swollen at the tip.
Sepals 6.5–9 × 1.5–3 mm, lanceolate, acute; petals similar but slightly smaller.
Flowers orange-straw coloured, 17–20 mm in diameter.
Column 1–1.7 mm long.
