Cultivation

Origin: in Orange, Calif., by Bill Weber. Introd. in 1933. Parentage unknown; original tree growing in the McPherson Brothers' orchard, after whom the variety was named. Tree: vigorous; quite productive even without hand-pollination. Fruit: size moderate; skin smooth but with some development of tubercles; quality good; midseason to late in maturity.
