Origin: in Hollywood, Calif., by John S. Armstrong. Introd. in 1927 by Armstrong Nurseries, Ontario, Calif. Parentage unknown. Tree: somewhat smaller and less vigorous than some other varieties. Fruit: medium to large, 1 1/2-2 lb; short, conical; skin light green, surface tuberculate; flavor and quality good; membrane tends to develop around seed; ripens in midseason and later.
