Anthericum jamesii Baker

Plants up to 15 cm.. Leaves linear, 10–15 cm. long, ± 1 cm. wide, sheathing into a neck 3–5 cm. long, with scabrid margins.. Peduncle 1–4 cm. long.. Inflorescence a raceme, often with 1–3 basal branches, 5–10 cm. long, with 10–15 flowers.. Pedicels semipatent, ± 1 cm. long at anthesis, elongating with age.. Flowers similar to those of A. corymbosum.. Capsule distinctly verrucose, otherwise similar to that of A. corymbosum .
