Characteristics

Caespitose succulent, up to 50 mm tall, white during dry season. One leaf-pair shortly fused, papillate, apiculate, second pair forming a long, smooth sheath and short, free parts papillate, both ± 9 x 5 mm, 3 mm thick. Flowers raised above plant on ± 20 mm long pedicels. Fruit 6-locular.
