Leaves pinnate, 7-15-lobed, puberulous, hairs branched; lateral lobes opposite, elliptic-oblong, entire or dentate; terminal lobes of upper leaves similar to lateral lobes, terminal lobes of lower leaves broader, lobulate or dentate; uppermost leaves lanceolate, bract-like; petioles slightly widened at base. Inflorescence a terminal raceme. Sepals oblong, puberulous, margins membranous; outer 2 cucullate, inner saccate. Petals obovate or obovate-cuneate, emarginate. Filaments thickened at base. Ovary linear-oblong, puberulous, hairs branched; stigma capitate.
