Characteristics

Herb to 35 cm tall, many-stemmed, prostrate to erect, with simple hairs; stems terete, quadrangular or angled. Basal leaves up to 6 cm long, pinnatifid with 4 or 5 pairs of lobes, petiolate; cauline leaves up to 4 cm long, pinnatifid with 1–4 pairs of lobes, sessile to shortly petiolate. Inflorescence dense. Sepals erect to deflexed, 2–3 mm long, somewhat dimorphic. Petals 2.5–4 mm long, white or yellow, rarely lavender. Style obconical, often narrow, less than 1 mm long to obsolete. Siliqua linear, 4–20 mm long, 0.5–1.5 mm wide, straight; valves convex or keeled with distinct midvein; pedicels spreading, 3–15 mm long. Seeds ovoid to oblong, 0.7–1 mm long.
