Characteristics

Straggling shrub to 1 m tall, glaucous; stems terete and ridged. Leaves cauline, filiform, entire, sometimes bi-or tri-sect, less than 6 cm long. Inflorescence lax. Sepals erect to deflexed, 3–5 mm long, scarcely dimorphic. Petals 4–6 mm long, white to cream. Style to 2 mm long. Siliqua linear or ellipsoidal, 7–28 mm long, 1–2 mm wide; valves flat to convex with distinct midvein; gynophore usually present; pedicels slender, spreading to recurved, 7–15 mm long. Seeds oblong, 1–1.5 mm long, somewhat flattened often with distal wing.
