Characteristics

Herb, many-stemmed, usually prostrate, glabrous; stems to 15 cm long. Basal leaves mostly to 5 cm long, usually lyrate-pinnatifid with 3–7 pairs of lobes, petiolate; cauline leaves smaller, reducing to sessile. Inflorescence dense. Sepals erect to deflexed, 1.5–2.5 mm long, tending to be dimorphic. Petals 1.5–2 mm long, white or yellow. Style less than 1 mm long to obsolete. Siliqua 4–17 mm long, 0.5–1.5 mm wide, terete or flattened; valves convex with slender midvein; pedicels spreading to pendulous, to 1.5 cm long. Seeds ovoid to oblong, 0.5–1 mm long.
