Characteristics

Geophytic herb, up to 300 mm high, densely silky-villous. Leaves trifoliolate with leaflets elliptic-oblong or cuneate, lower surface veins obscure; stipules broad, ovate, as large as or larger than leaflets, much longer than short petioles. Flowers: peduncles short, subumbellately 1-5-flowered; standard and calyx densely silky; corolla dull yellow; Sep.-Jan. Pods inflated, densely silky.
