Characteristics

Perennial, geophytic herb, 150-340 mm long. Stems 1-8. Leaves spreading, ascending, linear to lanceolate, 15-100 x 0.3-5.5 mm, base cuneate to hastate, apex acuminate; shortly petiolate. Inflorescences corymbose umbellate, 6-8-flowered; peduncle 17-67 mm long. Flowers 6-15 x 9-17 mm, green to cream-coloured, mauve-tinged. Corolla spreading and semi-reflexed; lobes ovate, 6.5-10.4 x 2.5-4.6 mm. Staminal column 3.8-6.5 mm high, not stipitate. Corona with claw-like lobes, 4.5-8.4 mm high, 1.2-2.8 mm wide, upper proximal end blunt and shoulder-like, upper distal end narrowed into a short, erect, dentate tip, upper margin level with style-stigma-head.
