Perennial herb, 190-280 mm tall. Leaves 9-10 times as long as broad, lanceolate to linear. Umbels solitary, terminal, 4-8-flowered. Corolla lobes spreading or slightly reflexed, glabrous or with a few hairs at tips on back outside, minutely papillate-puberulous inside. Dorsal apex of corona lobes distinctly produced above apex of inflexed sides. Flowers mauve.
