Perennial, geophytic herb, 240-560 mm high. Leaves linear, 30-115 x 1-3 mm, base minutely auriculate. Inflorescences 4-10(-14)-flowered; peduncles 3-18 mm long. Flowers white, cream-coloured to pale green with mauve base. Corolla: lobes 5.5-7.5 x 3.5-4.8 mm, margins scabrous; staminal column 2-4 mm high, stipitate by 0.8 mm long. Corona: lobes 2.2-3.8 mm high, 1.8-2.8 mm wide; upper proximal ends blunt, upper margin truncate, overtopping style-stigma-head by 0.5-0.8 mm.
