Flowers: inflorescences 1-5-flowered; corona with each lobe divided at apex into 3 slender, tortuous laciniae, the outer 2 curving into centre of flower and middle one curving outwards; corolla glabrous inside, glabrous outside or sparsely pilose with glandular hairs, lobes reflexed at anthesis, green, yellow or white; Jan.-Mar.
