Plants 5-6 cm high, the stems spreading and much branched from the base. Leaves opposite with regular internodes slightly shorter than the leaves; lamina 0-6-1.1 x 0.1-0.3 cm, linear or narrowly ovate, completely glabrous. Flowers 1-2 per node; pedicels 6-10 mm long. Calyx segments 2 x 0.75 mm, dorsally crispate pubescent with glabrous margin. Corolla lobes 4-5 x 2 mm, spreading and replicate at anthesis, glabrous, green or brown. Corona 3.5-4 mm high, of type A; basal lobe 2 mm high, with sloping shoulders; apical process erect; appendage half as long as process, erect or slightly reflexed; corona white, dorsally purplish. Anther appendages 1 mm long, narrowly elliptic, erect against the elongated gynostegium; corpusculum c. 0.25 mm long; translator arms characteristically bent forwards; pollinium 0.38 mm long with well-marked germination zone. Fruit unknown.
