Characteristics

Tree, 1.5-10.0 m high. Leaves discolorous, shiny above, glabrous, paripinnate; leaflets in 2-5 pairs, weakly asymmetrical, lanceolate, undulate, apex acute, margins entire. Flowers small and creamish, in terminal panicles up to 110 mm long. Stamens 8, arising within disc; filaments hairy. Flowering time Dec., Jan. Fruit a nut, with 1-3 brittle, yellowish brown wings.
