Leaves petiolate; blade narrowly elliptic-oblong, rarely obovate, 3–8.5 cm long, 1.5–3 cm wide, acute to apiculate at the apex, cuneate, sometimes acute at the base, glabrous or puberulous to glabrescent; secondary veins in 6–17 pairs; domatia present, often red; petiole 3–20 mm long, minutely pubescent or glabrescent, with or without colleters above.. Inflorescence axillary and terminal, few to many-flowered, dark pubescent in all parts; peduncles 2–29 mm long; pedicels 2–6.5 mm long..
