Characteristics

Annual or biennial to 90 cm tall, erect, robust, glabrous. Basal leaves with long petioles and terminal ovate lamina, sometimes with 1 pair of lateral lobes; lower cauline leaves pinnatisect with up to 6 pairs of lobes. Sepals c. 3 mm long. Petals c. 5–6 mm long. Siliqua linear, 20–60 mm long, 2–2.5 mm wide, c. 20 per 10 cm of rachis; style 0.5–1 mm long; pedicels erect to spreading, 3–6 mm long, up to half siliqua width. Seeds broadly elliptic to quadrate, 1.5–2.5 mm long; margin a tuberculate wing.
