Glomerules solitary and terminal, globose and 10–16 mm across, with up to 60 capitula; capitula with 2 female and 2 male florets; phyllaries 2.5–3.5 mm long; paleae 3.5–5.5 mm long.. Flowers white; female florets 2–3 mm long, glabrous; male florets 3.5–5 mm long, glabrous.. Achenes of female florets narrowly obovoid, 2–3.5 mm long, with twin-hairs; pappus of 2 lateral scales 1–2.5 mm long and 4–10 shorter scales on the abaxial side..
