Characteristics

Leaves digitately 3-foliolate; leaflets 25–65(75) × 4–11(20) mm, variable in shape, upper ones usually linear, lower ones narrowly elliptic, both with rounded apices, glabrous above, densely silky hairy beneath; petiole 10–17 mm long, silky hairy; stipules foliaceous, very large, (6)10–15(18) × (3)6–9(11) mm, ovate to broadly ovate-auriculate, acuminate, usually distinctly dentate with 3–5 prominent teeth.
