Leaf-lamina 1.7–7.5 x 0.6–2.5 cm., oblong, oblong-lanceolate to obovate, apex rounded or acute, apiculate, base rounded or subcuneate, scaberulous-pubescent on both sides particularly on the mid-nerve, glabrescent with age, nerves slightly raised on both sides but especially below, venation somewhat reticulate; petiole up to 5 mm. long, pubescent.
