Lamina subcoriaceous to chartaceous, oblong to subobovate or oblanceolate, sometimes elliptic or lanceolate, 2–4(–21) × 1.5–6(–12.5) cm., apex acuminate, base acute to obtuse, margin entire; upper surface glabrous, lower surface puberulous; lateral veins 5–6 pairs, tertiary venation reticulate; petiole 0.3–1 (–1.5) cm. long; stipules 0.3–0.7 cm. long, caducous.. Staminate inflorescences 3–6 mm. in diameter, subsessile or on peduncle up to 2 mm. long..
