Characteristics

Plants erect, to 250 mm, slender; leaves cauline, lax to closely imbricate, lanceolate, acute, glabrous, to 38 x 13 mm. Inflorescences lax to dense spikes, to 120 mm. Flowers few to many, c. 20 x 10 mm, sepals pink with darker spots and greenish base, petals pink, lip pink with darker spots and greenish base; ovaries to 12 mm long. Median sepal lanceolate, acute, c. 7 x 4 mm; laterals oblique, reflexed, ascending, subacute to obtuse, 7-10 x 3-5 mm. Petals basally fused to the gynostemium, oblique, obtuse, 7-8 x 4-5 mm. Lip spathulate, c. 6 mm long; limb short, with 2 tall keels; blade triangular, 8 x 7 mm, tapering to a subacute apex, narrowly convex or gibbous; spur stout, subclavate, obtuse, 5.5-10.5 mm. Rostellum c. 1 mm tall, erect, 3-lobed, lateral lobes bearing the viscidia, central lobe reduced; anther c. 3 mm tall, erect.
