Leaf-blade very broadly ovate or elliptic to often suborbicular, commonly 2.8–3.8 cm. long, 2.5–3.4 cm. wide, apically extremely obtuse or rounded to retuse, never mucronulate, basally rounded to subcordate, rather leathery, glabrous or puberulent on the nerves beneath, with 2–3 pairs of rather prominent nerves arising in the lower half; petiole 1–1.7 cm. long.. Inflorescence a rather dense short corymb; pedicels 1–1.2 cm. long.. Outer sepals ± 7–8 mm. long, glandular-puberulent, minutely tomentellous on the margins.. Petals 0..
