Leaf-blade obovate-oblong or elliptic, 2.5–5.5 cm. long, 1.4–2.5 cm. wide, apically obtuse to abruptly acuminate, basally broadly narrowed to subcordate, with a wavy margin, leathery, abundantly but not densely scaly on both surfaces; petiole 1–2 mm. long.. Inflorescence a short subcorymbose raceme; pedicels 7–12 mm. long, scaly.. Outer sepals 5–6 mm. long, somewhat keeled.. Petals 7–12 mm. long, long-clawed; blade linear-lanceolate, basally attenuate, white.. Androphore short, ± 5 mm. long; appendage fused for 3 mm. to the base of the androphore, 4–5 mm. long, with a spreading laciniate margin; stamens 4; filaments ± 6 mm. long; anthers 1.5 mm. long..
