Leaf 50–120 × 3–7 mm. Flower stem 100–200 mm tall, 1-flowered. Flowers 45–65 mm across, cream to white with reddish lines; sepals and petals with thick black glandular tips (no clubs). Dorsal sepal erect, 35–55 × 2–3 mm. Lateral sepals spreading to obliquely decurved, 35–55 × 3.5–5 mm, divergent. Petals similarly arranged, 30–45 × 2–3 mm. Labellum 13–16 × 7–9 mm, white, cream or red; margins with numerous teeth to 2 mm long; tip recurved. Basal calli 6–8, c. 1.3 mm long, erect. Lamina calli to 1 mm long, cream, in 4 or 6 rows onto midlobe. Column 13–15 × 4.5–5 mm, translucent with reddish markings; basal glands c. 1.2 mm long, ovoid, yellow.
Highly localised and rare, known from just five populations in the region with the lowest rainfall in the state; growing among bracken and shrubs in remnant grassy woodland in freely draining, sandy loam.
