Characteristics

Leaf linear, 60–130 × 3–3.5 mm, sparsely hairy. Flower stem 120–200 mm tall, 1–4-flowered. Flowers 12–16 × 16–18 mm, lemon-scented, intensely white to greenish internally, externally blackish to blackish green, labellum white with dark purple spots and purple calli, midlobe dark purple, column greenish with red blotches. Dorsal sepal strongly incurved, 10–12 × 2.5–3 mm. Lateral sepals obliquely porrect, 10–14 × 2–2.5 mm, widely divergent. Petals 10–13 × 2–2.5 mm, widely spreading or upcurved. Labellum 4.5–6 × 3.5–4.5 mm; lateral lobes entire; midlobe recurved, with 3 or 4 pairs of purple-headed, marginal teeth. Calli in 4 irregular rows well onto midlobe. Column 5.5–6.5 × 2.3 mm.
