Characteristics

Leaf ground-hugging, 30–80 × 4–7 mm. Flower stem 80–250 mm tall, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 20–25 × 20–25 mm, cream to greenish yellow with red stripes and markings. Dorsal sepal recurved, 10–15 × 1.5–2 mm. Lateral sepals divergent, 10–15 × 1.5–2.5 mm, stiffly decurved. Petals decurved, 8–10 × 1–1.5 mm, tips incurved. Labellum stiffly hinged, attached to a column foot c. 2 mm long; false abdomen 5–6 × 3–4 mm, green with maroon hairs and calli, strongly incurved near top of ovary (semi-circular in profile); false head 1.5–2 mm across, dark maroon, flanked by 2 thick calli to 1 mm long. Column 8–10 × 4–6 mm, greenish with red markings.
