Characteristics

Leaf 40–80 × 9–11 mm. Flower stem 120–250 mm tall, 1-flowered. Flowers 50–70 mm across, cream to white or pale yellow, rarely pinkish; sepals and petals with thin, blackish, thread-like tips (no clubs). Dorsal sepal erect, 50–75 × 3–4 mm. Lateral sepals stiffly spreading near base then drooping, 50–75 × 3.5–6.5 mm, widely divergent. Petals similarly arranged, 45–55 × 3.5–4.5 mm. Labellum 10–12 × 3.5–4 mm, white or pinkish; margins with numerous, thick, white-tipped teeth to 2.2 mm long; tip recurved. Basal calli 4, c. 1.3 mm long, erect. Lamina calli to 1.3 mm long, white or purplish in 4 or 6 rows nearly to labellum apex. Column 10–12 × 4 mm, transparent with reddish markings; basal glands c. 1 mm long, ovoid, shiny yellow.
