Characteristics

Leaf usually prostrate, linear, 30–100 × 3.5–5.5 mm, sparsely hairy, dark green above, reddish beneath. Flower stem 80–160 mm tall, thin, wiry, 1-flowered. Flowers 12–15 × 15–20 mm, internally white to pale pink, externally brownish pink; labellum white to pale pink with thin dark pink bars, midlobe cream, basal calli orange with a white stalk, main calli cream to yellow; column whitish with narrow red bars. Dorsal sepal erect or recurved, 10–15 × 2.5–3 mm. Lateral sepals obliquely decurved, 12–16 × 3.5–4.5 mm. Petals spreading beside lateral sepals, 9–14 × 2.5–3.5 mm. Labellum 3-lobed, 7–8.5 × 6.5–7 mm; lateral lobes large, erect or obliquely spreading, margins entire; midlobe short, recurved with 6–8 short, blunt marginal teeth. Basal calli 4, to 1.3 mm long. Lamina calli in 2 rows to base of midlobe. Column 6.5–7.5 × 2.5–3 mm.
