Characteristics

Leaf 100–250 × 5–15 mm. Flower stem 250–450 mm tall, 1–3-flowered. Flowers 60–90 mm across, pale lemon yellow; sepals and petals with long, brownish, thread-like tips (no clubs). Dorsal sepal erect, 65–90 × 3–4 mm. Lateral sepals stiffly drooping, 60–90 × 5–7 mm, divergent. Petals stiffly drooping, 50–75 × 3–5 mm. Labellum 18–23 × 10–14 mm, cream, pale yellow or greenish yellow, rarely pinkish; margins with numerous, spreading, clubbed, yellowish or reddish teeth to 5 mm long; apex recurved. Basal calli 4–6, c. 2.5 mm long, curved, clubbed. Lamina calli to 2 mm long, white or pale red, in 4 or 6 rows to base of midlobe. Column 15–18 × 7–10 mm, lemon yellow with brownish markings; basal glands c. 1.8 mm long, angular/ovoid, yellow.
