Characteristics

Leaf lanceolate, 80–150 × 12–20 mm, shortly hairy. Flower stem 100–300 mm tall, sturdy, shortly hairy, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 15–30 mm across, green to greenish yellow with red central stripes; sepals with small brown clubs 1–3 × 1 mm. Dorsal sepal erect or recurved, 15–25 × 2–4 mm. Lateral sepals stiffly and obliquely decurved, 15–25 × 3–5 mm, parallel or slightly divergent. Petals obliquely decurved, 13–20 × 1.5–3 mm. Labellum delicately hinged, 10–12 × 11–13 mm, yellowish green with maroon apex; margins with 3 or 4 pairs of blunt green teeth to 1.5 mm long and numerous, shorter, red teeth; tip recurved. Basal calli c. 4 mm long. Lamina calli to 2 mm long, strongly clubbed, blackish red, in 4 or 6 congested rows onto base of midlobe. Column 11–13 × 5–6 mm, translucent with red flecks; basal glands c. 2.3 mm long, shiny yellow with red base.
