Characteristics

Leaf linear-lanceolate, 120–200 × 8–12 mm, densely hairy. Flower stem 250–450 mm tall, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 40–60 mm across, yellowish green with dark red central lines, suffusions and markings; sepals, petals and labellum with thick yellow to brown clubs 5–10 × 2 mm. Dorsal sepal erect, 22–32 × 3–5 mm, incurved or recurved. Lateral sepals obliquely decurved, 22–32 × 4–6 mm, parallel or crossed. Petals decurved, 20–25 × 2–3 mm. Labellum stiffly hinged, 13–17 × 8–10 mm, yellowish green with dark red suffusions and red apex; margins with numerous, thin, upcurved to spreading comb-teeth to 9 mm long; tip recurved, with a thick club 4–5 mm long. Basal calli c. 3 mm long, slender. Lamina calli to 2 mm long, maroon, in 4 rows onto base of midlobe. Column 12–14 × 6–7 mm, translucent with red markings; basal glands c. 2 mm long, oblong, yellow and red.
