Characteristics

Leaf 100–250 × 6–10 mm. Flower stem 250–500 mm tall, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 50–60 mm across, usually wholly greenish yellow, sometimes with few red markings on labellum; lateral sepals with thin brown glandular clubs 6–10 mm long (no clubs on dorsal sepal or petals). Dorsal sepal erect, 25–45 × 3–5 mm. Lateral sepals obliquely downcurved, 25–45 × 4–7 mm, divergent or crossed. Petals obliquely downcurved, 25–35 × 3–4 mm. Labellum 12–15 × 10–12 mm, greenish yellow; margins with numerous, thin, erect to spreading teeth to 6 mm long, tips often hooked; apex recurved. Basal calli 10–12, c. 2.5 mm long, thin. Lamina calli thin and wiry, to 1.2 mm long, dark purplish red, densely crowded in ill-defined rows and forming a central band nearly to labellum apex. Column 14–15 × 5–6 mm, transparent with red markings; basal glands apparently absent.
