Characteristics

Leaf 100–200 × 4–5 mm, dark green. Flower stem 200–350 mm tall, 1–6-flowered. Flowers 18–22 × 25–30 mm, white, citrus-scented, externally greenish to brownish; labellum white with red to purple spots and red to purple calli; midlobe reddish purple; column pale green with red blotches. Dorsal sepal 8–10 × 3–3.5 mm. Lateral sepals porrect, 10–13 × 3–3.5 mm, divergent. Petals 10–13 × 3 mm, widely spreading or upcurved. Labellum 5–6 × 4–4.5 mm; lateral lobes entire; midlobe recurved, with numerous marginal teeth, purple-headed. Calli in 4 irregular rows well onto midlobe, congested at labellum apex, heads appearing spiky. Column 5–5.5 × 2–2.5 mm.
