Characteristics

Leaf 120–180 × 3–5 mm. Flower stem 150–300 mm tall, 1–4-flowered. Flowers 18–24 × 30–35 mm, with a spicy scent, white, externally greenish to brownish; labellum white with white, yellow or purple calli; midlobe pink to purple; column whitish with red markings. Dorsal sepal 12–15 × 5–6 mm. Lateral sepals porrect, 19–25 × 6–7 mm. Petals 17–23 × 4.5–5 mm, stiffly spreading. Labellum 8–10 × 5–7 mm, very obscurely 3-lobed; margins erect with numerous white, reddish or purplish teeth; midlobe recurved, with shorter narrow marginal teeth. Calli crowded, in 4 or 6 rows extending onto base of midlobe. Column 8–9 × 3.5–4 mm, broadly winged.
