Characteristics

Leaf ground-hugging, 30–60 × 4–12 mm. Flower stem 120–300 mm tall, 1-or 2-flowered. Flower 20–30 × 20–25 mm, cream to greenish yellow with red stripes and markings. Dorsal sepal strongly recurved, 12–18 × 1.5 mm. Lateral sepals deflexed, 12–18 × 3–4 mm, clasping ovary. Petals deflexed, 10–14 × 1–1.5 mm, clasping ovary. Labellum loosely hinged and appearing as if hanging from side of flower, attached to a column foot 2–  long; false abdomen 5–6 × 3–4mm, cream to greenish yellow with maroon hairs and calli, strongly incurved near base of ovary; false head 1.5–2 mm across, yellow to red, flanked by 2 humped calli to 1 mm long. Column 10–12 × 4–6 mm, greenish with red markings.
