Characteristics

Leaf 80–140 × 6–8 mm. Flower stem 250–400 mm tall, 1-or 2-flowered. Flowers 70–110 mm across, opening pale green, becoming fawn to tawny yellow, with pale red lines; sepals and petals with thin, brownish, glandular tips (no clubs). Dorsal sepal erect to recurved, 60–80 × 3 mm. Lateral sepals spreading with drooping tips, 60–80 × 3.5–5 mm, divergent. Petals similarly arranged, 45–65 × 4 mm. Labellum 13–19 × 6–9 mm, cream to yellowish; marginal teeth numerous, to 2 mm long, red with white tips; tip recurved. Basal calli c. 1 mm long, erect. Lamina calli to 1.5 mm long, dark red, in 4 or 6 rows onto midlobe. Column 12–13 × 4–5 mm, translucent with reddish markings; basal glands c. 1.3 mm long, ovoid, yellow.
