Characteristics

Leaf 60–120 × 3–7 mm. Flower stem 200–300 mm tall, 1–3-flowered. Flowers 50–80 mm across, bright lemon yellow to creamy white with red lines and markings; sepals and petals with long, dark, filamentous tips. Dorsal sepal erect, 55–100 × 2.5–3 mm. Lateral sepals obliquely decurved, with drooping tips, 70–110 × 2.5–4 mm. Petals horizontal then drooping, 65–85 × 2.5–3 mm. Labellum 12–15 × 8–10 mm, cream with red lines breaking up into spots and blotches; margins with numerous short, broad, blunt teeth. Calli anvil-shaped, white to yellow, glossy, 6–13 pairs in 2 rows.
