Characteristics

Leaf 80–150 × 8–12 mm. Flower stem 120–250 mm tall, 1-flowered. Flowers 35–50 mm across, pale yellow to yellowish green with red suffusions and stripes; sepals with longish thick red clubs 5–13 mm long; petals lacking clubs. Dorsal sepal erect and incurved, 30–45 × 2–2.5 mm. Lateral sepals spreading to stiffly decurved, 35–55 × 3–4 mm, widely divergent. Petals similarly arranged, 25–40 × 2–3 mm. Labellum 13–17 × 8–11 mm, red to maroon with a yellowish base; margins with 8–12 pairs of irregular teeth to 2 mm long; tip decurved. Calli to 2 mm long, red, in 4 or 6 crowded rows.
