Characteristics

Leaf linear, 120–180 × 4–6 mm, densely hairy. Flower stem 120–230 mm tall, wiry, densely hairy, 1–4-flowered. Flowers 60–80 mm across, greyish white to creamy white, sometimes with pinkish or reddish suffusions; sepals and petals with long, brownish, filamentous tips. Dorsal sepal erect or drooping, 60–90 × 1.5–2 mm. Lateral sepals spreading at base then drooping, 60–90 × 2–2.5 mm. Petals similarly arranged, 55–80 × 2–2.5 mm. Labellum 7–10 × 5.5–6.5 mm, cream with red markings; margins with numerous short teeth. Calli anvil-shaped, cream, 9–13 pairs in 2 rows. Column 6–8 × 3 mm, cream or reddish, sparsely glandular-hairy.
